Tried to order mine on Verizon! 2 months?? They’re crazy!! I heard people are trying to buy them and upsell like the ps5s
Watching this waiting for mine to ship
As Ultra case is just one, the end part of the video helps to decide which bands to go with. Looks Ocean band sits nicely on the wrist without any gap unlike Alpine and Trail which have the metal ends to their strap.
I’m getting the Apple Watch ultra Trail Loop (Blue/Grey)[S/M] ⌚️for my birthday 🥳 in January im so excited 😆
@dcrainmaker what’s your favourite strap?
What size bands will fit these? I wanted a Milanese loop with mine but didn’t know what size to get lol 😂
Can’t wait to get my watch i got the Series 7 right now but it’s going to be even great to have the Apple Ultra
❤❤❤I want it because it’s bigger
;Not a bad review from someone who really has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to adventure sports. One example: He said 100 meters should be sufficient for recreational divers.....dude, NO recreational divers dive to 100 meters...EVER! Normal dives are around 40-60 feet....max dive is around 100-120 feet and that is for a short amount of time and usually never done by recreational divers. This watch has a max depth of 100 meters, but a rating of 40 meters...which is 120 feet. Plenty of depth for 90% of all divers in the world. This is just one example of the lack of information in this video.
Are you able to do heart rate training with zones?
You know why I went Alpine? Because like you said… once it’s on your wrist it’s nice. That trail loop? I guarantee it wears out and doesn’t work the same after a while. Apple people aren’t always thinking though. Just want what is “nice” even if one day it’ll fall off your wrist and plummet into the abyss.
Perhaps the one thing this demonstrates is that Garmin makes adventure watches really well, and Apple makes smartwatches really well.
I will have spent 10 days this month out in the mountains with clients or on rescues and my Fenix 7X is a trusted companion. I can spend ten hours or more with GPS on as a backup to my paper map, and it barely scratches the battery. And that’s whilst using it as a training/fitness watch.
It’s not as beautiful as the Ultra, but the Ultra doesn’t come close to being a credible alternative. I wish it did, but 36h/60h of battery life hardly compares to 31 days when fully charged.
I'll bet those kids in the original Blair Witch wish they had this so they could easily backtrack to their cars.
I wonder if the sport band from the series 8 will fit on the Ultra. Workout hardcore and I sweat a lot. But I hope it fits. I would’ve loved if it came in a black color as well. 😅
Great great review. One of the best I have seen (on the Apple Watch Ultra)
Feel like anything other than rubber/silicone will get all gross when you sweat and end up stinking…
dirty nails :o
Can you swim with alpine loop band for Apple Watch ultra ?
