I find it hilarious that I am an American but I've been adopted into English cultures and the English love me and the Americans find me amusing. My friends can't get enough of how different I sound and honestly, I've been thinking of moving to the uk
I thought Fall/Autumn was Herbst? Or did I forget my German?
Man I grew up in Australia and my vocab is a weird mix of Aussie, British, and American
European is not a nationality so why compare European to two nationalities??
In Finland, we use and have been taught a some kind of Frankenstein combination of American and UK English, and some words have also been given new meanings so that the Finnish language can be translated into English. For example, "trousers" means specially outdoor clothing worn in winter, while "pants" means any clothing worn on the legs with two holes for the legs, such as jeans, boxers, pants and tights.
It's hilarious that it seems like none of the ladies would be friends, or even do any segments with each other, if they weren't on this.
When the American went off with Boston accent I fell in love
What I want to know is how many of y'all know what a "bunnyhug" is.
I love that she all Americans are simple but also language makes no sense
I want to clarify on the chips vs fries debate.
French fries are the narrow fries you get at McDonalds, steak fries are the ones british people eat as fish and chips, and potato wedges are the even thicker version with skins on that are often paired with fried haddock or Mac and cheese in America. We also have hot fries which are basically thin matchsticks of deep fried corn paste covered in hot spices.
Chips are specifically thin layers of vegetables that are deep fried or baked until they are crisp. We have both corn chips and potato chips in America. Hot fries don't count as chips because they aren't flat.
I grew up in Texas and might be moving to Scotland soon. I feel like food is gonna be the biggest nightmare for me to figure out.
Ive never heard an American say underpants. It’s always underwear, panties, or bra.
The German's tattoos are so ugly! Her beauty is ruined.
As an American I see most buildings say G, 1st, 2nd. 3rd, where does this girl live, I've been all across the country and only the oldest of elevators are G, 2nd, and so on so they can skip the 13th floor.

Hey uh, that may be a very misleading subtitle... I don't think the Germans eat kids...
When they discuss Autum and fall made me think of this. In the US there are people who only know Autumn as a name not a season.
She did a NY accent not Boston.
Overalls and bibs are the same thing. There are lots of dif things for the US
