It's mostly vintage Americana inspired work wear so lots of denim, lots of more casual garments with vintage influences but their suits are also very nice. 05:04 Swimwear They are usually in classic patterns such as checks or they have like bold stripes and it's very hard to find a tasteful classically inspired pair of swim trunks from other brands. 05:23 Overcoats Probably the most iconic piece is the Polo overcoat which works well with their name. It's kind of a camel hair coat and you've probably have seen an ad from them. Ironically, it's not sold on their website very often anymore so the best chance to find it is vintage on eBay or other places. 05:57 Vintage Polo Items: Today, Polo Ralph Lauren is much more commercialized. It's mostly made in Asia, however, in the 80s, things were made in the US or in Italy or in England and oftentimes, to a higher standard; the yarns and the fabrics are better so they've stood the test of time. So if you find something from the 80s or 90s that you like and it goes with your style, don't be afraid of buying it, it's good stuff. Good items in this area are corduroys or sweaters, ties, suits, or even seersucker. 06:31 Shorts Men's shorts or Bermuda shorts are really great.but just in general, often they are vintage-inspired, they offer bolder colors than other men's brands, and they have little details such as coin pockets or just a pattern like a real Indian cotton madras. 07:01 Dress shoes: Today, their purple label shoe line is usually made by Crockett & Jones, Edward Green or Graziano and Girling which are all high-end British makers. 07:25 Purple Label Suits & Jackets Back in the day, they were made in England by Chester Barrry and crew and that's the suit I'm wearing here right now. It's really nice, it has a very 30s inspired style with wide lapels, it's tailored very softly so it's extremely comfortable just like a sweater and even though today, most of purple label's items are made in Italy and things have changed quite a bit, they're still at a high-quality level and I recommend them. Usually, those garments retail anywhere from $4,000-$6,000 or more. Now, I don't believe it's worth the retail price but sometimes, you can score bargains on eBay or on outlets. 08:28 Home Goods They have anything from bed sheets to glasses to decorative items and while generally, their stuff is not of the utmost quality, it is good quality and it is a superb style. 08:57 Slacks Especially, Polo has a range of corduroys for the winter that are unusual, many different colors, they also have great chinos. What should you not buy from Ralph Lauren? Polo Shirts: They are flimsy. Dress shirts: They fit weirdly. Anything with Big Logos: Simply obnoxious. Activewear: Does not work! T-shirts: Overpriced

Black Tie, of course, has a relatively strict dress code and when you want to get all of the details right, a Brooks Brothers tuxedo shirt can get you there. They offer both pleated front and bib front models and also offer a detachable wing collar, if you're truly into that crisp look. Opera Pumps Along those same lines, the next item we recommend you pick up if you're so inclined is a pair of traditional opera pumps. These are the most formal shoes that a man can wear, suitable for both Black Tie and White Tie and Brooks Brothers still offers them. Sweaters Sweaters are, of course, a classic winter addition to any man's wardrobe when worn in the correct way. By this, we mean that there are many styles of sweater that Brooks Brothers offers but there are a select few that we would actually recommend. You should probably opt for classic styling and by this, we mean things like turtlenecks, cardigans, v-necks, and shawl collars. Conversely, you probably don't want to get anything with zippers, crew necks, or hoods. Also, rather than synthetics, you should go for natural materials like cotton, wool, merino, and cashmere. Chinos We did a little survey on our YouTube community page asking you, the viewers, what you'd like to see us mention from Brooks Brothers and chinos came up repeatedly. Now, we can't speak to this from personal experience but there are a number of factors that point toward Brooks Brothers chinos being a great pair of pants. Overcoats Brooks Brothers is one of the few off the rack companies that still offers a variety of overcoats in natural materials and classic silhouettes. They are often pricey as you'll typically spend anywhere from five hundred to two thousand dollars but the look is quintessentially classic so if you treat the garment well, you should get many years of use out of it therefore, bringing that important cost per wear metric down considerably. Oxford Cloth Button Down Shirts (OCBD) We would, of course, be remiss if we didn't mention the OCBD which was, in fact, Brooks Brothers' invention. They have fine fit options from slim to relaxed and they come in classic styling patterns and colors. Also, the look of these shirts is meant to be a bit more relaxed so it is okay if the fit isn't 100% perfect to you. Non-Iron Dress Shirts Brooks Brothers' non-iron dress shirts did also come up repeatedly in our comments but again, we don't have any personal experience with them. Shoes We also recommend their shoes, specifically, the models that run under the Peal & Company brand name and not any others. Pajamas They are offered in a wide variety of styles including thin robes, checked cotton flannels, or shirt fabric styles.

Neither of us would have been even remotely satisfied with a true off-the-rack suit ordered sight unseen online as neither of us has body types that fit into Suitsupply’s idealized mold. Do share this video if you found it useful! ⏺️ Patchouli Glow Rs.1800 ➡️ Pros: • No white cast • SPF 40 PA+ (decent sun protection) • Reef safe • Vegan & cruelty free • Has chemical filters • May work well for very dry skin types ➡️ Cons • Very oily for combination, oily & even normal skin types • Difficult to apply the appropriate sunscreen amount to get the SPF protection that’s mentioned on the packaging as going beyond 1-2 drops makes the skin oily. According to researchers, 1/2 tsp of sunscreen is needed for face and neck to get the appropriate amount of SPF rating mentioned on the sunscreen. Otherwise you’re not getting the protection your skin needs. • Does not absorb into the skin • There are SPF 50 PA sunscreen options available for less than half the price in the Indian market, so doesn’t have anything that justifies the price point. ⏺️ Ashwagandha Bounce Rs.2700 ➡️ Pros • Light weight, quick absorbing • High in antioxidants that prevent skin damage • Has skin brightening ingredients • Decent quantity and user friendly packaging • Sits very well under makeup. ➡️ Cons • Contains small quantity of fragrance which may potentially sensitise 4-5% of the skin types in long term i.e. after five, ten, twenty years. • Fairly pricy. — Overall, if I had to pick one product, it would be the moisturiser. I wouldn’t recommend this for acne prone or sensitive skin though and I do hope that they come up with more fragrance and essential oil free products in the future — Disclaimer - I am not a dermatologist. The brand has also been extremely kind to take my feedback into account which I really appreciate. It’s extremely rare to find beauty brands who take their feedback into consideration and work towards improving. I hope they come back with something more exciting. I’ll be waiting - but for now, this is my brutally honest review. I hope you all found it helpful. ⏺️ COMMON FAQs • How to read the ingredient list and know the ingredient quantities? The ingredient list is (and should be) in descending order, meaning the ingredients with the highest percentage would be the initial 5-8 ingredients followed by the ones that are lesser. Usually after that mark, most ingredients are under 1% and hence below the therapeutic index - meaning they aren’t substantial enough to provide therapeutic benefits. • Are they preg/BF safe? I’ve not tried their Golden Hour Glow Serum yet due to the fact that it contains alpha-arbutin which isn’t safe during pregnancy, so at this point, I will not be able to comment on that particular product. The sunscreen may or may not be pregnancy/BF safe depending on if you’re comfortable using chemical sunscreens during pregnancy (you can check with your doctor). It doesn’t have oxybenzone. If I had to pick ONE product that I liked the most from the entire range, it would definitely be the sunscreen. It might not be ideal for very oily skin but if you like that glowy, dewy, moisturiser finish - you’ll like using this! The barrier repair creams may be pregnancy/BF safe. They do not contain any ingredients that maybe problematic for preg/BF women. • My nail paint shade and outfit details? My nails are gel nail extensions. The dress is from 🤍zara (2-3 years old). I find it really hard to fault her brand because I can see how everything is so thought through. My favourites include her fragrance free sunscreen, her cookies and clean mask, her heat lip gloss in fenty glow and skin tint (08 shade). Her blush is great but doesn’t stay too long in humid weather. ⏺️ 🤍anomalyhaircare I was over the moon to see 🤍priyankachopra to start her own brand and admire her recycled packaging. However, the hydrating range has hardly any humectants. The gentle shampoo is far from gentle, IMO and the dry shampoo is high in denatured alcohol, which will dry the hair shaft in long term. I hope she formulates! ⏺️ 🤍kaybykatrina 🤍katrinakaif is one of the first celebrities to start her own beauty brand. I’ve tried very few products but her eyeshadows, blush (shade flirty nude), and even her kajal, loose powder, contour sticks are amazing! Still haven’t tried something I don’t like from it.
