On this episode of Make It Kustom, I am finishing the floor pan around the transmission tunnel and toe boards. After designing the desired shape, I CNC plasma cut a 10 gauge structure that my sheet metal can be plug welded to. Next, I map out my pattern and transfer it for bead rolling. Once cut and rolled, the panel is bent and fit into place. To achieve these bead rolled floor panels I will be using: (Machinery) Hypertherm Powermax 65 CNC plasma cutter My handmade bead roller TIG welder Finger brake (Techniques) TIG welding Grinding Sanding If you missed out on Part 2- Making and Installing Front Body Mounts and Toe Board Structure, here is the link below!! 🤍 🤍 🤍 #MakeItKustom #japhandskustoms #kustom

This Beetle came to me with both heater channels nearly destroyed and huge holes in the vw floors. I was asked if I could replace these and the VW Beetle heater channels and of course I could. So here's the video of me performing a Volkswagen floor pan replacement from start to finish. VW Beetle Floor Pan Replacement really isn't all that hard. If you've never replaced a VW floor pan this video is for you! First you need to find the VW Floor Pans specific to your year. Once you've got those picked out then you remove the body and cut out the VW floor pan. Once the VW floors are removed, you then clean off any other rust with a wire brush and afterwards with a rust converter and let it sit overnight. The next morning you take your brand new VW floor pans and lay them in position in your chassis. Once you have your vw bug floor pan replacement parts in position, cut off any excess and align them properly. For floor pan replacement VW Beetle it really is that easy! VW Thing floor pan replacement is exactly the same, however the vw floor pan repair is completed with much wider VW Floor pans such as those from a Karmann Ghia. Yes, I know... the whole procedure wasn't completed in 25 minutes, but this video depicts how I did it in about 25 minutes of run time. :-P ⚫ Consider Supporting This Channel!⚫ GET MERCH ▶ 🤍 PATREON ▶ 🤍 RUMANDCOLA FUND ▶ 🤍 ⚫Stuff Seen in this Video⚫ Phosphoric Acid (Quart) ▶ 🤍 Phosphoric Acid (Gallon - Best Deal) ▶ 🤍 48-70 Beetle Pans ▶ 🤍 71-72 Beetle Pans ▶ 🤍 73-79 Beetle Pans ▶ 🤍 ⚫ More Popular DuckmanCycles VW Videos ⚫ ⚫ Engine Stuff ⚫ Valve Adjustment ▶ 🤍 Setting Static Timing ▶ 🤍 Lift Engine/Engine Stand ▶ 🤍 Replace Clutch Cable ▶ 🤍 Remove Crankshaft Gear ▶ 🤍 ⚫ Body / Rust Repair / Restoration ⚫ Remove Beetle Body ▶ 🤍 VW Body Lift and Dolly ▶ 🤍 Reinstall Beetle Body on Pan ▶ 🤍 Bolting Beetle Body to Pan ▶ 🤍 Rust Conversion ▶ 🤍 ⚫ Floor Pans ⚫ Replace Beetle Floor Pans ▶ 🤍 Replace Pans (Eleanore) ▶ 🤍 Replace Karmann Ghia Pans ▶ 🤍 Replace Thing Floor Pans ▶ 🤍 Replace Type 3 Floor Pans ▶ 🤍 ⚫ Electrical ⚫ Replace Dimmer Relay ▶ 🤍 Hard Start Relay ▶ 🤍 12v Starter Differences ▶ 🤍 ⚫ Brakes / Suspension / Drive ⚫ Tie Rod Replacement ▶ 🤍 Packing Wheel Bearings ▶ 🤍 Lowering/Brake Upgrade ▶ 🤍 Lower/Raise Rear Torsion Bar ▶ 🤍 Flaring Stainless Brake Lines ▶ 🤍 More Flaring Stainless Lines ▶ 🤍 Replacing Rubber Brake Lines ▶ 🤍 Residual Pressure Valve ▶ 🤍 Install Rear Disc Bralkes ▶ 🤍 Bleeding Brakes ▶ 🤍 Pack/Install CV Joints/Axles ▶ 🤍 Replace Lug Studs ▶ 🤍 ⚫ Type 3 Specific ⚫ Remove Type 3 Engine ▶ 🤍 Install Type 3 Engine ▶ 🤍 Type 3 Dual Carb Linkage ▶ 🤍 ⚫ DUCKMANCYCLES FACEBOOK GROUP ⚫ JOIN THE DISCUSSION ▶ 🤍 ⚫ FOLLOW MY SOCIAL MEDIA ⚫ FACEBOOK ▶ 🤍 INSTAGRAM ▶ 🤍 TWITTER ▶ 🤍 ⚫ MY WEBPAGE ⚫ GET EARLY ACCESS TO VIDEOS AND MORE ▶ 🤍 ⚫ SUBSCRIBE TO MY OTHER CHANNELS ⚫ SkeeterTheDuck ▶ 🤍 VvTheDuckvV ▶ 🤍 DuckmanCycles ▶ 🤍 Theme song (Gearhead) by Kevin MacLeod/Incompetech.com Background music (8bit Dungeon Boss) by Kevin MacLeod/Incompetech.com
