Russian submarines смотреть последние обновления за сегодня на .
In today’s episode, we are going to take a look at five of most lethal Russian submarines along with their diverse capabilities. To gain more interesting insight, make sure you stay with us until the end of this video! The Soviet submarine program was a force to be reckoned with throughout the Cold War. The Soviet Union's undersea murderers drew the attention of both Westerners and Soviet civilians. Many Americans anticipated Soviet submarines crawling over the country's coastlines during the heated time of conflict between Washington and Moscow. Submarines are significant because they have enabled both superpowers to launch large-scale nuclear wars from the depths of the ocean. Despite a major drop in technological development following the fall of the Soviet Union, Russian leaders have increased their efforts to modernize their armed forces. From improving Cold War models to satisfy present-day challenges, to designing brand new platforms like the Borei and Yasen-class submarines, Russia has set its eyes to enhance the status and capabilities of its underwater power. "Hornet's Nest" - this is how the NATO classifies submarine base station of the Pacific Fleet in Kamchatka. This Russian naval base is the closest to the United States. It is from this point in the Pacific Ocean that Russian nuclear submarine cruisers with nuclear missiles on board leave for combat duty. At the same time it's one of the harshest places of service for submariners on the planet: half a year Krasheninnikov Bay, the home for the submarines, is ice-bound while only three summer months can be considered snowless. There are no submarine bases operating in such severe conditions on the planet. Media has never been permitted to film here before. For the first time journalists are allowed to tell about this military unit in such detail: suffice it to say that in this episode the viewer will see the base's underground infrastructure for the first time. And, of course, "Combat Approved" will show strategic nuclear submarine cruisers on alert at sea and how submarine crews are preparing for a naval battle on land. #russianarmy #submarine #combatapproved 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍
At over 175 meters long, the world’s largest submarine is almost twice the length of a standard rugby union pitch, but what’s it like to be inside, and how does it work? The Dmitriy Donskoy is far narrower than it is long, at 25 meters, but don’t be fooled by its streamlined design. This submarine can displace 48,000 tonnes of water - that’s over 19 Olympic-sized swimming pools filled to the brim. Today, the world's largest new submarines are for spy missions. Harking back to the mystery surrounding submarines during the Cold War, Russia's newest type defies belief. It is massive, the largest type since the ginormous Typhoon Class. And it is designed for a novel and unique combination of roles.
The SSBN Typhoon-class submarine, officially designated the Akula (“Shark”) in Russia, is a Cold War behemoth measuring 175 meters long and displacing 48,000 tonnes as it sinks. That's double the tonnage of American Ohio-class SSBNs it was meant to compete with. No less than five internal pressure hulls made of ultra-expensive titanium gave the Typhoon outstanding resistance to battle damage. The Typhoon was the largest submarine ever built. #TyphoonClassSubmarine #Submarine #RussianNavy #RussianSubmarine Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purpose such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. At the end of the Cold War the Russian Navy, bereft of funds, abruptly decommissioned 100 nuclear powered submarines leaving behind a massive nuclear waste disposal problem. This program reviews the progress of the long term project to properly dispose of the submarine's reactor cores and the major challenges those working on the project are dealing with. Nowadays, the world is much closer to a nuclear conflict than at any other time since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Russia continues to fire missiles at the civilian population of Ukraine from its submarines and ships, threatening the whole world with the “nuclear button”. The US and Britain, in turn, have made it clear to Russia’s deranged dictator that they would respond immediately. Additionally, the latter has Astute-class submarines, which can easily become one of the key tools in the event of a global nuclear threat!

The Cold War was a deadly game in the depths of the oceans. More than 20 collisions between American and Soviet submarines are only the tip of the iceberg as far as these secret operations are concerned. Borey is a series of Russian strategic nuclear submarines - carriers of ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. Project 955 Borey was initiated back in the 1990s for the future replacement of the Delta IV and Typhoon submarines. Despite many problems and serious delays, the project entered the implementation stage and gave the Russian fleet a new generation of strategic sumbarines equipped with all modern equipment and weapons. Borea's main weapon is 16 SS-N-32 Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missiles. For 2022, there are 5 units in service: 3 early Borey and 2 updated versions of Borey-A. A total of 10 submarines are scheduled to be delivered, which will become the main strategic carriers of sea-based nuclear weapons in Russia for the coming decades. Thank you for watching!

The widespread broadcast from the Ukraine war continues to affect the whole world. Almost the entire West has come face to face with Russia. In particular, there were serious reactions from Russia to the Western states, which took the lead in aid to Ukraine. But as the Russian army lost its credibility, there was an increase in the moves made against it. The Russian army, which is seen as one of the two most important armies in the world, has suffered heavy defeats both on land and at sea in this war, which has almost completed its 9th month. But Putin's war is not just in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin, who is trying to stand up to the whole world apart from his war in Ukraine, is making a show of strength with his navy, especially in the world's seas. It continues its activities in the South China Sea as well as the Russian Navy ships that enter the North Sea and later the North Atlantic Ocean through the Baltic Sea. However, some images leaked to the internet from the war simulations carried out by the Russian Navy within itself drew a great reaction from the international community. In the released footage, the crew of a Russian nuclear submarine simulates downing a P-3 Orion after a Norwegian plane shoots down Sonobuoy. According to a video taken by the crew of the Russian submarine circulating on social media, a Norwegian Maritime Patrol Aircraft and a Russian nuclear submarine collided in the Barents Sea. The video shows a Norwegian Lockheed P-3 Orion reconnaissance plane dropping a sonobuoy in front of the Russian nuclear submarine 'Knyaz Vladimir'. The incident occurred as a Russian submarine surfaced in the Barents Sea and was returning from its mission. While these moves increase the tension in the region, a hardening is observed in NATO's moves in the North Seas. Russia, on the other hand, is trying to pose a threat by responding to these moves with the same rigor. NATO frigates are shadowed outside Russia's Arctic submarine bases. The Norwegian and British warships sailing just north of the Kola Peninsula were closely shadowed by the Northern Fleet. "This is part of the new normal," said a Norwegian navy commander. The British navy sailed to the Barents Sea for the third year in a row for Arctic navigational training. Norway's frigate "Thor Heyerdahl", frigate "HMS Northumberland", and supply tanker "Tiderace" sailed together as they moved north this September. In the spring of 2020, the first US and British surface warships sailed into the southern Barents Sea, sparking controversy in Norway. But that same autumn, a Norwegian frigate joined when the same two navies sailed north of the Kola Peninsula. This September's expedition took place in the Barents Sea, north of both Norwegian and Russian territorial waters. Except for the Kola Peninsula, Russian naval ships overshadowed British and Norwegian ships, the Norwegian armed forces reported. The Kola Peninsula is home to the Northern Fleet's bases for ballistic missile submarines and other naval assets. Events in this region may lead to the beginning of a new war era. As the Arctic ice melts, tensions rise between Russia and the United States. The most basic question that comes to mind is; What is at stake at the top of the world? On a dark Arctic morning, the sound of gunfire could almost be mistaken for the cracking of ice. But then a rocket explodes in the distance. And the gunfire sounds again, this time closer. There's also the sudden buzz of helicopter wings. Another fleet arrives to join the ground attack. His boots make almost no noise when in the snow. It's March and NATO is conducting one of the largest military exercises in the Arctic since the Cold War. More than 30,000 soldiers from 27 countries are fighting against a fictional Russian invasion of Norway. And given that just weeks ago Russia actually invaded Ukraine and started the biggest war in Europe since WWII, that doesn't sound so hypothetical anymore. Just above the Norwegian border on the Kola Peninsula lies most of Russia's nuclear arsenal: submarines and missile launchers carrying warheads, now on high alert at the behest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Some Indigenous nations tell their stories of the northern lights as torches that lead warriors to victory. Today, experts say the Arctic is increasingly becoming a conflict zone again. Former Pentagon official Jim Townsend remembers going north after the Cold War to dismantle most of the Allied military bases and air defense systems there. "We're going back now," he says. Things are heating up again. In more ways than one. The shock waves of the war in Ukraine have been felt around the world, but especially in the Arctic, where climate change has wreaked havoc on its most dramatic changes ever – it's distorting roads, uncovering ancient corpses and toppling huge icebergs. As the frozen wilderness thaws, new avenues of attack open up, as well as new access for shipping and resource extraction.

These NATO Submarines Can Destroy Russia in 30 Seconds / The war in Ukraine takes a new turn - a darker turn - as Russian submarines have now gotten involved to disintegrate Ukraine with a barrage of missiles. This comes as a shock to many as Ukraine has no formidable submarine threats or defenses. This potential overkill could be what pushes NATO to join the conflict more directly. And should that happen, a number of highly lethal NATO submarines could possibly be called upon to deal unprecedented damage to Russia. These powerful NATO submarines are our focus in this video - but first, we must look at how and why, after four months into the conflict, submarines are now getting involved at all.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's forces are showcasing their military might in the Arctic Sea near Alaska. Two Russian nuclear-powered submarines, the Omsk and Novosibirsk, fired anti-ship cruise missiles from the Chukchi Sea, hitting targets at a distance of 400 kilometres. Russia's 'Bastion' coastal missile system also fired missiles at sea-based targets at a distance of 300 kilometres from the Chukchi peninsula. The drills were conducted on Friday by the Russian defence ministry which called them a test of Russia's "ability and readiness to defend the Russian arctic by military means." August 10th, 2000, at around 9 AM CEST, 2 explosions, so massive that their magnitude was registered in Alaska 3000 miles away, sent the Russian submarine Kursk to the ocean bottom! The story of Kursk began on August 10th 2000, when she arrived in the Barrent sea as part of the Summer-X, the largest naval exercise since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Kursk's goal was to show that her powerful weapons are deadly enough to take on on an American aircraft carrier. The Culprit behind the explosions was a type 65 torpedo, armed with a 1000 pound warhead. The Russian Navy was low on budget, and decided to use old torpedoes for exercise. At about 8 AM on that morning, Kursk's crew began loading torpedoes. The hydrogen peroxide fuel on the torpedo that was loaded into the 4th tube, began to react and suddenly exploded! Just 2 minutes later, 7 more warheads detonated due to the fire caused by the first 2 explosions. Russia first refused any sort of foreign assistance, but after so much domestic pressure, they took help. Kursk was found by divers from the Norway, after almost a week. Strategic nuclear submarines are one of the elements of the nuclear deterrence triad, which, in addition to them, includes strategic aviation and land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles. Equipped with a nuclear power plant, these submarines can be submerged for months, patrolling neutral waters somewhere in the Arctic Ocean. It is very difficult to detect them due to the fact that the most modern submarines create a minimum of noise and almost never float, only at the base. At the same time, each strategic submarine carries more than 10 submarine ballistic missiles carrying several nuclear warheads at an intercontinental range. To date, doomsday submarines are owned by the United States, Russia, China, Great Britain and France. Let's find out which submarines are the most advanced! We present to your attention a rating of the best submarines! In addition, in our video you will learn about the characteristics of the submarine, which will soon see the world!
