The 109th edition of the Tour de France is right around the corner. It will be starting in Copenhagen, Denmark and will go on to visit three more countries. The route will visit northern France and meander down to the French Alps and the Pyrenees. We take a look at the key sprint stages and the sprinters who will be taking them on, the key GC stages and the riders with yellow dreams. not so good, thoose preditionsens now, huh
How do you feel about your predictions now...?
No mention about the stage with cobblestones, stage 5 I believe.
I agree that Jonas V. Is a viable contender for the top three!
How about Ben O'Connor? You did not say much about him!
So the final stage will be won by "the best of whoever's there". Who' would have guessed that?
Can these commentators not talk w o saying “kinda” and “I mean” and “you know”?
I see I am being, quite rightly, called out in the comments for not mentioning Vingegaard.
We had a massive list, which he was on, but somehow he got missed in the midst of recording (we may have mentioned him and then cut it).
For what it's worth, I think he's clearly one of the strongest riders but will ultimately end up sacrificing his chances for Roglic at some point, such is the politics of cycling. His day will come at one point though, you don't go toe-to-toe with Pogacar and then fade to nothing 5 mins later.
Surprised that Vingegaard is not mentioned as one of the GC favorites?
I would LOVE to do this on Strava!!
and the cobbltestone stage as a JC stage is the most stupid thing i have ever heard
what ignorance - did they not watch the last stage in dauphine? its going to be a roglic vs Poga race only....well maybe it will byt not mentioning Vingeg...is such a degree of stupidity and last year's knowledge...Not to metion that he is now favoured an inch better from the bookies that Roglic
Let’s talk about Cavs omission????🐘
jonas vingegaard will beat roglic
Forgetting about Vingegaard, not knowing about changes in polkadot pointing system which makes the classification wide open - Storer, Pinot, Barguil, Woods, Quintana.
Putting Jakobsen together with Wout as a contender for a green jersey, when in top form he might be able to win 2- 3 stages max on this year's route.
Not mentioning Ben O'Connor.
All of these makes this preview a little bit meh
Jakobsen barely clashed against top sprinters this year. I'm not sure why you're seeing him above Philipsen and Ewan.
I agree that pogacar will probably win it all, but it will be intresting to see if jumbo visma can do something about it know that they have two gc contenders
