Maybe a dumb question, but do you hook up your own bike or do you order the bike with it?
I just took a leap of faith and ordered one today. I still have flashbacks from the 2018 version. Wish me luck.
I've just had this delivered today but a quick question the legs you open and " lock in place " should there still be movement when locked in place as mine still slightly move side to side is that normal?
Shane, I noticed that you suggested on another thread trying a factory spin down on the v5 as a potential fix to under reporting power at low flywheel speeds. Since the v5 has auto calibration, why would a factory spin down do anything?
Question from a geezer here. I have the first gen Kickr. I use Fulgaz for my ride experience along with Garmin Edge 1000 and Stages power meter. Does the gen 5 offer a better connectivity experience than the gen 1? I appreciate any comments.
Kickr v5 or neo 2t?
June 1st a new firmware has been released with support to Bluetooth FTMS for both Kickr18 and kickr20/kickr5
I just ordered a Specialized Allez E5 Sport. Will it fit the trainer ? Or do I need to change something. I am really a newb at this 🙂
Would it be worth upgrading to this over the kickr snap? What if 90% of my time I do structured training on Zwift? Would you keep the snap and buy the climb or upgrade to this?
I’ve had a Gen 1 for 6 years and it has been superb. But unfortunately it has developed a warp where the cassette mounts and the Distributor no longer services the Gen 1, so I am forced to upgrade.
Hi. have you did a comparison with the power reading... kickr v5 v v4? Does the v5 seem to read a drop lower?
Hi Shane any advice I have an elite direto which I use my s works tarmac disc on so di2 looking to upgrade to either a wahoo kikr v5 2021 or the kikr bike what would be the best option of the 2 as I do like using my tarmac on trainer as it’s my spare bike that I also use outside great videos as ever any help advice much appreciated cheers kenny
One more question, when doing zwift, races and free rides, you don’t want to use erg mode, so what do you do, do you pair your powermeter up to the powers piece on zwift, or do you pair your wahoo kickr and put it in simulation mode from the wahoo app.
Hey is the wahoo kickr a duo sided power meter like the tacx is, or is it not
Just wondering if you have seen any major strange readings on cadence despite new firmware for this?
Hey Shane I was looking at purchasing a Kickr V5 or a Neo 2T, but I can’t decide which one. What do you recommend?
All I want is a cord so no dropouts to my gaming pc. How is this not thing
When is the Llama lab test coming out?
Where is the full Llama lab review of the Kickr 5? I am trying to decide between the Direto XR and the Kickr 5. Is the Kickr worth the extra $?
