ENTER GARMIN GIVEAWAY HERE: 🤍tinyurl.com/bdcpk7wp Dan Bigham recently broke the hour record in emphatic fashion and it sure does raise the question, how much further is really possible? With the expert mind of Dan Bigham and the power of a rider who can push out over 400 watts for an hour, it seems as though anything is seemingly possible. We look at the tech that made the record breaking ride possible along with some handlebars that Trek have recalled. We also remember the incredible bikes Mike Burrows brought into the world and his long lasting impressions on the bikes we ride today. Zipp have also released the new 858 NSW's which seem to be much lighter than they should be given their depth. We also ask the question, why are all bikes looking the same? 00:00 - Intro 00:31 - Did Dan Bigham Buy The Hour Record? 06:05 - Trek Handlebar Recall 08:29 - Remembering Mike Burrows 11:04 - Zipp 858 NSW 15:55 - Why Do All Bikes Look The Same? 22:54 - Outro Subscribe to Cycling Weekly here: 🤍🤍youtube.com/user/CyclingWeekly1?sub_confirmation=1 More at: Cycling Weekly: 🤍🤍cyclingweekly.com Facebook: 🤍🤍facebook.com/CyclingWeekly Instagram: 🤍instagram.com/cyclingweeklymagazine Twitter: 🤍twitter.com/cyclingweekly Email: cycling🤍futurenet.com #bicycles #bikes #cycling
Yall losers seriously changed from “Dan Bigham BUYING HIS HOUR RECORD” to this new title, and yall had the audacity to say Hambini was misogynistic ? 😂
Kids, this is why we go to school, so we don’t be like a bunch of shite journalists who know nothing about CdA claiming an aerodynamicist a fraud. Cycling Weekly journalists might as well join a feminist protest at this point.
What an absolute shoddy piece of reporting or journalism to tarnish the effort of Dan Bigham.
This is complete waffle, you guys are utter knobs and clearly know nothing about cycling
Have some respect guys for Dan 🤦🏼♂️
Why trash Bigham for a massive achievement? Continuing the long tradition of hack commentary by Cycling Weakly.
so all the other hour records happened for free did they or were they "bought" as well scraping the barrel this stuff
Can't understand a word the guy on the lefts saying 🤨
The whole ‘all modern bikes look the same’ spiel is so done now. Road bikes are more diverse than they’ve ever been. We had decades of 2 triangles with zero complains, give it a rest.
Wow, that’s cold and incredibly disrespectful to Dan Bigham. To say he “bought the record” is disgraceful and belies the amount of work that went in to this hour record. You also said his name wrong quite a few times. Bigham, not Bingham.
In my mind, there should be two hour records: one for the ideal and artificial conditions of the velodrome, and one for the road. The road record would be the more prestigious and respected record. Maybe there already is this distinction. If so, good.
The presenter with the beard is hardly understandable for non-native English speakers; pls slow down your talking and use better articulation
An aero bike is only fastest on a completely flat ride? 🤔
Sorry thought you had Richard Hammond on the show for a second 😂
Thank you for a decent tribute to Mike Burrows, and for an adequate overview of everything he was involved in!
wish the giveaway was worldwide, loved the video
I remember how this channel made Dan a name we know.
He did you take down all of the “which aero bike is fastest videos”? They aren’t coming up for me. I think Ollie made them with Dan, but could have been one of Dan’s friends.
The new trend among Hour Record holders: Head down the whole hour! Ellen Van Dijk did that to save every watt and came out with the women's record.
