Minneapolis (/ˌmɪniˈæpəlɪs/ (About this soundlisten)) is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Minnesota and the seat of Hennepin County. With a population of 429,954 as of 2020, it is the 46th most populous city in the US. Seven counties encompassing Minneapolis and its neighbor Saint Paul are known as the Twin Cities. In 2019, those counties are among sixteen making up the Minneapolis–St. Paul–Bloomington MN–WI metropolitan area of 3.6 million, and twenty-two making up the combined statistical area of 4.0 million — the sixteenth largest metropolitan area in the United States. Minneapolis lies on both banks of the Mississippi River, just north of the river's confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Saint Paul, the state's capital. With one of the nation's best park systems, the city is abundant in water, with thirteen lakes, wetlands, the Mississippi River, creeks and waterfalls, many connected by parkways in the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway. The city and surrounding region is the largest population and primary business center between Chicago and Seattle. Minneapolis was historically a marketplace for timber, became the flour milling capital of the world, and, to the present day, preserved its financial clout. Anchoring strong music and performing arts scenes, Minneapolis is home to both the Guthrie Theater and the First Avenue nightclub. Reflecting the region's status as a center of folk, funk, and alternative rock music, the city was the launching pad for several of the 20th century's most influential musicians, including Bob Dylan and Prince. Hip-hop and rap scenes produced artists Lizzo, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, and Dessa. In May 2020, the murder of George Floyd, a black man, by Derek Chauvin, a white officer of the Minneapolis Police Department, occurred in the city. It resulted in global protests and put Minneapolis and racism in the national and international spotlights. 🤍 #DSNEVADA #Drivingtour #4K

You’re probably asking yourself; I want to move to said location, but I want to know some of the pros and cons before making the leap to a new city let alone a new state! The Twin Cities has some of the most diverse people and in turn, the most diverse things to do around. Minnesota living is unique in that around the Minneapolis neighborhoods we have some of the most iconic spots, from the Mall of America to the giant cherry in a spoon at the Walker Art center to our historic downtowns that run along the Mississippi. The cost of living in Minneapolis is slightly below the national average which means that you could find your dream home in or around some of the best locations we have to offer. They're also home to some of the most amazing things to do, see, eat, drink and experience. In this video, I give you 15 must-do activities that will help you get started exploring these fantastic places! Minneapolis and Saint Paul are two cities that are located in the state of Minnesota. They are located on opposite banks of the Mississippi River just north of its confluence with the Minnesota River, which forms the border between the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin at this point. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area consists of over 16 cities in Minnesota with a population of 3.6 million people. Unlike most Twin Cities, Minneapolis (MPLS) is slightly larger by population than Saint Paul, though today it is not as true as it was for most of the 20th Century. Saint Paul has won national acclaim for its beauty and livability. The two cities have very different histories and they blend beautifully today. Although it's hard to say which is the better of the two, I'm referring to Minneapolis as a much more "boring" place than Saint Paul (in terms of activities and things to do). Minneapolis has a lot of fun things for you to do, like the Mill City Museum or the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, in which you can immerse yourself in flour and the history of Minneapolis. Or visit the Science Museum of Minnesota for over 300 interactive exhibits covering science, art, history, and nature in Saint Paul. THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT: 29-NOV-2022. A Delta Air Lines Airbus A319 (A319), registration N302NB, performing flight DAL2439 / DL2439 from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, MN (USA) to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, TX (USA) after receiving clearance for take-off started acceleration but when they reached about 91 knots the air traffic controller instructed them to stop because the aircraft that landed before didn’t clear the runway. Delta 2439 vacated runway and returned to the gate. Join me on Patreon: 🤍 #realatc #aviation #airtrafficcontrol _ Timestamps: 00:00 Description of situation 00:23 Line-up 01:14 Take-off clearance 01:49 Delta 2439 rejected takeoff 02:24 Air traffic controller reported the reason _ THE VALUE OF THIS VIDEO: THE MAIN VALUE IS EDUCATION. This reconstruction will be useful for actual or future air traffic controllers and pilots, people who plan to connect life with aviation, who like aviation. With help of this video reconstruction you’ll learn how to use radiotelephony rules, Aviation English language and general English language (for people whose native language is not English) in situation in flight, which was shown. THE MAIN REASON I DO THIS IS TO HELP PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY EMERGENCY SITUATION, EVERY WORD AND EVERY MOVE OF AIRCRAFT. Text version of communication – Made by Author. Video editing - Made by author. HOW I DO VIDEOS: 1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation. 2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need. 3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight. 4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft. 5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route. 6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation). 7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
My experience visiting Minneapolis for the first time was a mixed bag. On one hand, I met some really cool people, enjoyed their downtown, and had a great time at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We visited the Mall of America, ate at the Hen House, and stayed at one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. On the other hand, I seen multiple (random fights), got into a minor confrontation on the train, witnessed some really seedy characters in downtown Minneapolis, and more. Minneapolis has not had one cyclist death in over 2 years! It is certainly one of NYC's best cities to bike in and getting even better with commitment to on-street protected or sidewalk-level paths. I got to take a wonderful 3-day trip (one day it hit 100 degrees) and there were still so many people out. Of course this film does not look at what it is like to ride during the Winter (many of the people in this film said they do) but if you want to gauge that there are many other videos to choose from.
